The Florida-based law firm of Adams & Diaco consists of four partners and seven associates, all experts in personal injury law. We represent clients who have suffered injury through the negligence or carelessness of others in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and surrounding areas.

Robert D. Adams

Mr. Adams has litigated all types of casualty work ranging from standard soft tissue cases to multi-car and tractor-trailer cases. Mr. Adams has litigated over 1,000 injury cases himself and has overseen the litigation of nearly 8,000 cases throughout the state. He has also actively litigated and taken to trial a variety of cases including medical malpractice, automobile negligence and aviation crashes. He has tried cases in 11 different counties and litigated cases in nearly every county in Florida. Currently, Mr. Adams’ practice consists of managing the firm’s attorneys and handling an active, statewide caseload of injury cases.
COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES: Mr. Adams is a graduate of Leadership St. Petersburg and a volunteer for Great Explorations-The Children's Museum. He is a member of The Florida bar, the St. Petersburg Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Joseph F. Diaco Jr.

Early in his legal career at Shear, Newman, Hahn and Rosenkranz, P.A., Mr. Diaco began building a reputation as an aggressive and knowledgeable advocate from litigating and trying complex insurance defense cases, including: medical malpractice, product liability, catastrophic injury and death cases. Mr. Diaco co-founded Adams & Diaco, P.A. in 1999. Over the years, he has consistently proven to be an aggressive and passionate advocate, having personally handled over 1,000 injury claims and dozens of jury trials to conclusion. Mr. Diaco has deposed hundreds of experts and doctors and has handled the most complex of medical malpractice and injury cases, including: catastrophic injury, death, motor vehicle negligence, aviation, class action, multi-district litigation, premises liability, commercial liability and worker’s compensation cases.
Mr. Diaco is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the America Bar Association and the Order of the Barristers.

Stephen C. Diaco

Mr. Diaco has enjoyed tremendous success in the political and legal communities. He has successfully lobbied for clients in the Florida Legislature and enjoys a working relationship with key legislators in both parties. Mr. Diaco worked closely with Charlie Crist for years prior to serving on Governor-Elect Crist’s transition team. He is a current Board Member of the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority following an appointment by Governor Crist. Mr. Diaco organized the 2004 Hurricane Relief Tennis Slam, which raised over $250,000 for hurricane victims. Currently, he manages the business aspects of the firm along with maintaining an active personal injury case load.
In addition to serving on the Board of the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority, Mr. Diaco is a former board member of the American Cancer Society, Tampa Chapter and the J. Clifford MacDonald Foundation. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
